Client Background
Following an earlier accounting-system engagement, Church Pharmacy later undertook a separate transition from NetSuite to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This project focused on moving the agreed accounting data and configuring Business Central to support the company’s finance and operational requirements.
Business Challenges
- Transitioning from an established ERP platform to a different system while maintaining the integrity of agreed financial and operational data.
- Mapping source-system records and structures to the corresponding Business Central setup.
- Configuring the company environment, financial periods and core accounting settings in the destination platform.
- Re-establishing sales and purchasing transaction flows in Business Central.
- Providing appropriate reporting and search capabilities, alongside integration or data-exchange arrangements required by the agreed scope.
Our Solution
Space Stem supported the NetSuite-to-Business Central transition with a structured migration and configuration approach. This included preparing and mapping the agreed data, setting up the destination environment, configuring core finance workflows and addressing reporting and integration requirements relevant to the new platform.

Results & Business Impact
The project supported Church Pharmacy’s transition from NetSuite to Business Central by moving the agreed data and establishing the required company and finance configuration in the destination system. The result was a configured starting point for the relevant sales, purchasing, reporting and integration processes in Business Central.
Key Insight
ERP migration between two established platforms requires more than a direct field-to-field transfer. Differences in data models, configuration and transaction behaviour must be accounted for so the destination system reflects the business processes it is expected to support.
